Professor Cielen will lead our discussion on business analytics. His discussion explore in turn on various practices of business analytics in both supervised and unsupervised learning environments, while focusing on specific models used in machine learning.
Maiton Ltd. , a strategic business partner of SAS, designs and develops data science projects and solutions for their customers in a variety of service industries.
Prof. Cielen is also a senior lecturer in Business Analytics at the Maastricht School of Management (Maastricht, the Netherlands) and Adjunct Professor Big Data Science at the IESEG School of Management (Lille, France).

Prof. Jean-Pierre NEVEU
Dr. Jean-Pierre Neveu is a Professor of Human Resources Management at Pau-Pays de l’Adour University, in Bayonne, France.
Professor Cielen will lead our discussion on business analytics. His main areas of expertise relate to critical organizational issues, occupational health & safety, motivation, and complex decision-making processes.
He is currently Director of the Master of General Management, a full-time graduate program exclusively taught in English language for foreign students. Dr. Neveu publishes in international peer-reviewed journals, including Journal of Organizational Behavior, Journal of Management, and Annual Review of Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Dr. Lee SCHLENKER is Professor of Business Analytics and Community Management and a Principal Consultant of the Business Analytics Institute.
Prof. SCHLENKER has been a guest speaker in corporate conferences for Apple, Cegid, IBM, Oracle, SAP and SAS in Europe, Asia and the Middle East. Over the last twenty years, he has led dozens of missions for Big 4 consulting groups in the manufacturing, telecommunications, public works and service industries.
Recognized as an expert for the European Commission in learning analytics, Lee has directed or participated in studies on improving management education in the US, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Recipient of the EDSF prize for the use of technology in teaching, Lee currently facilitates various management education courses in Europe and abroad.
