The 2026 BAI/ZHAW Winter School

on Agentic Systems

The Business Analytics Institute, together with the ZHAW School of Management and Law and the  Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute for Management Development, will be offering a 10-day Winter School next January 28th to February 7th in Mysore, India on Agentic Systems and the Transformation of the Workplace.

This immersive 10-day program introduces management and engineering students to the transformative impact of generative AI and agentic systems on organizational structures, business operations, and market dynamics.

Through a blend of theoretical foundations, hands-on projects, and real-world case studies from Europe and Indian markets, industry-recognized experts in their fields will help our participants will develop practical skills and frameworks necessary to leverage Agentic Systems in communications, manufacturing, and transportation industries.

The session will be held on the campus of SDMIDM in Mysore, Karnataka. Our cultural visits will include visits to Mysore Palace, the  Holy City of Dharmasthalastalah, and the Chennakeshava Temple.

In close collaboration with the multiple econmic and social projects of the Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheshwara Institute, the Winter School provides a perfect setting to give your career a global perspective!

Quick facts:

  • The Winter Session will be held January 28 - February 7, 2026. We will focus on agentic systems and collaborative intelligence to design business ready approaches to Generative AI using case studies, workshops, seminars, and expert testimony from the Finance, Service, and IT Sectors.

  • The session is open to uppergraduate and graduate management and engineering students, as well as working professionals aiming to develop their practical application of Artificial Intelligence in business and society.

  • This winter’s international faculty will include Profs. Cielen, Hitz, Minhaj, and Schlenker.

  • Our cultural visits will include include the Our cultural visits will include visits to Mysore City, Mysore Palace, the Holy City of Dharmasthalastalah, Chennakeshava Temple, the traditional welcome and farewell dinners and yoga classes. An optional tour of the Golden Triangle will be proposed immediately following the session.

  • The practicums will be run using Google Colab, OpenAI Agents, Model Context Protocol (MCP), Codex

  • The basic fees for the session are 1645 euros for the class fees and social activities. Several negotiated housing options are available to enrolled students.

  • Student Registration will open May 12, 2025 and closes December 12, 2025. Early bird discounts are available to students registering before September 15th.
